Behavioral Health Medical Billing

Payment Posting
Our billing team ensures that each claim is paid appropriately and records all ERAs and EOBs. If there is a remaining balance, it will either be billed to the secondary insurance or added to the patient's account.

Re-credentialing
Typically required every three years, providers are required to re-verify their credentials. Re-credentialing is available in some of our bundling options.
Denial & Appeal Management
ARH will monitor claims and call insurance companies to check on status of unpaid claims; refiling unpaid claims as needed; reviewing denials, and filing appeals.
Eligibility & Verification of Benefits
Our process includes providing patients and providers with mental health care benefits by verifying their insurance and eligibility beforehand. This includes determining co-payment, deductible, co-insurance, and maximum visits allowed per year, eliminating denials and patient surprises. For most providers, we can check eligibility 24-7 and do so on a routine basis. For higher levels of care, we always call in and verify service requirements and coverage, utilizing a 52-question VOB. Our VOBs come in 3 levels, and we are always available to explain the benefits to your patients so there is nothing lost in translation.
Utilization Review Services
Our dedicated team of Utilization Review specialists ensures optimal care for higher-level patients. Conducting concurrent reviews, we secure more authorized days and minimize peer reviews for a seamless care experience. Whether you need prior authorization for OP or request 10 days of Detox, we’ve got you covered.
Aging Claims and A/R
Our A/R Specialists will monitor the aging of your accounts receivable( A/R) and quickly identify denials, review, correct, resubmit, and, if necessary, appeal. Following up on all old or aging claims to ensure maximum recovery of revenue is critical for any medical practice.
